Sorry, but it won't. Subaru's changed their headlight shape every 3 years or so. They made a change around April 1997, so the one's before that are different from the ones after.

There are two screws on the back of each headlight housing. One adjusts up and down, the other side to side.

To replace the low beam headlight on a 2007 Subaru Outback, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Remove the plastic cover on the back of the headlight housing by twisting it counterclockwise. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb and remove the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb, reconnect the electrical connector, and replace the plastic cover, ensuring it is secure.

To replace the left front headlight on a 2006 Subaru Outback, first, open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness by squeezing the tabs and pulling it off. Remove the rubber cover, then twist and pull out the old bulb. Insert the new bulb without touching the glass, replace the rubber cover, and reconnect the wiring harness before testing the new headlight.
