If the door has no visible damage to it, I suspect that the little moveable latch that holds the door shut to the locking bar in the jamb is to blame. With the door open, jiggle the lacking latch with your fingers and see it can move. Also, move the door handle at the same time. It might be frozen for some reason. Spray it liberally with WD-40 or other light lubricating oil. If that doesn't work you may have to take the interior door panel off to get at the internal mechanism to see if you can determine the problem.
anyone know?
I bought a new part for my 1995 Honda accord EX four trunk door but it still won't latch. Can you help?
My renault modus 1.5 dci 2004 rear door cannot be opened manually can anyone help?
Seek professional help as there is a problem with the SRS. This is not a DIY repair.

To open a stuck door on a 1995 Honda Passport, first check for any visible obstructions or debris around the door frame. If the door is stuck due to rust or corrosion, try gently pulling on the door handle while pushing against the door itself to create some movement. You can also use a lubricant, like WD-40, on the hinges and latch mechanism to help ease it open. If these methods fail, you may need to consult a professional for assistance.
I would like to know if anyone know where the seat belt FUSE for a 91 Honda accord is the left side works but the driver side doesnt work can anyone help me? The problem is in the control box that goes underneat each seat, you need to replace it.
Walk out the flippin front door
To address the issue with your 2001 Windstar's sliding door, first, check the door alignment by inspecting the hinges and adjusting them if necessary. You may also need to clean the door latch and the rear sensor to ensure they're functioning properly. If the light continues to indicate that the door is ajar, consider replacing the door sensor, which can often be done without professional help. Additionally, make sure that the door is fully closed and securely latched when testing.
well with companies out there such as "Hasport"....you can get pretty much any sized Honda motor in there. the year of your car is already lined up for quite a few...like the b16 or b18. check out "Honda tuning magazine" too they are full of help.
Try shooting some WD40 into it and working in and out several times they will often stick and a little lube will help, otherwise you will probably need to replace it.
The lock cylinder is held in by the chrome on the outside in the cylinder where the key goes in to turn it. from the inside if the door - the outer piece of the chrome (the ring) has a couple of 'fingers' that help hold it on - push it off from the inside so you can reuse it. you should be able to push the cylinder out from the door now.
