I have a 2006 Camry - automatic headlights as per below. If I get out of the car through the passenger door (rather than the drivers door; typically because I'm parked too close to something on the drivers door) the lights stay on continuously. Open and shut the driver door to fix. When locking via the remote you'll get more than the normal set of beeps if you've snuck out through the passenger door.
Some equipped with automatic headlights. It's very easy check. When you start your car and it's dark around, and the headlights come on automatically then you have automatic headlights. If you they don't come on when it's dark around then you don't have such option.
