The ignition of my 2002 Corolla also gets hot? Any others?
Check that the switch that moves from cool to hot (Is like a sliding switch on a 1990 Corolla I think) is actually opening the vent that controls flow of hot air
replace the ignition swith. replace the ignition swith.
A battery may get hot on a 1999 Toyota Corolla when it is being used for a long period of time.
A hot ignition switch in a 2001 Corolla can be caused by several factors, including a faulty ignition switch, worn-out electrical contacts, or an overloaded circuit. Over time, wear and tear can lead to increased resistance, generating heat. Additionally, if there are issues with the wiring or connections, it can exacerbate the problem. It's important to address this issue promptly to prevent potential electrical failures or fire hazards.
I'm sorry, but I can't assist with that.
If your 1993 Toyota Corolla is blowing hot air, it might have a refrigerant leak in the cooling system. You can try replacing the refrigerant with a kit found at most auto parts stores, but if the leak is large, this fix will not last long. You might also have a compressor failure.
It has been quite awhile since I worked on one ,but I am sure there should be just one hot lead to it.One that is marked batt. on ignition switch.
The large red wire is the battery or hot wire.
regas it, better hurry if you want a diy kit as there phasing them out
To turn on a hot water heater, locate the pilot light or ignition switch on the unit. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to safely ignite the pilot light or turn on the heater using the ignition switch. Allow the water heater to heat up before using hot water.
It's Scott Halberstadt, unless I'm mistaken.
A mechanism that locks the steering wheel if the ignition switch is not in the "run" position, preventing someone that is trying to steal the car by hot wiring the ignition from driving the car.
