hi i am looking for the torque settings for a proton gen 2 cylinder head bolt and crank shaft bolts both big ends and main bearing bolts
what are the torque for camshaft and cylinder head bolts please
No-one in the world knows
nope. you still have the 6 18mm bolts that bolt the flywheel to the crank
Head bolts and outer mains are 65 ft./lbs., inner mains are 70 ft./lbs.
Bolt pattern and torque specs are here: http://toyota.offroadforum.cz/aarc.epnet.com/application/8578/8578R03_Cylinder_Head.html
It depends on the brand of the rod bolts, but usually 45-50 ft/lbs.
65 ft. lbs. inner 70 ft.lbs. outer
remove driver manifold/egr pipe / remove starter - rotate engine with 19mm deep socket to the crank to find bolts
To properly assemble bicycle crank bearings, first clean and grease the bearings and bearing cups. Place the bearings into the cups and then install the crank spindle. Tighten the crank bolts to the recommended torque specifications. Finally, check for smooth rotation and adjust as needed.
To properly tighten crank bolts on a bike, use a torque wrench to apply the recommended amount of force specified by the manufacturer. Make sure the bolts are clean and properly aligned before tightening them in a crisscross pattern to ensure even pressure distribution. Double-check the tightness after a few rides to prevent any loosening.
To tighten a bike crank properly, use a crank puller tool to remove the crank arm, clean the spindle threads, apply grease, and then reattach the crank arm using a torque wrench to the recommended torque specifications.
