Your engine can misfire and a code will not show if:
1 your could be arcing if they are laying across each other
2 the wires are arcing against the engine or other metal object
3 one of your spark plugs is fouled and is not firing the cylinder
4 one of your plug wires doesnt have a good connection with plug or distributor
5 possibly a crack in the distributor cap
6 possibly faulty rotor within distributor cap
If you have a "check engine" light on, start with having the codes read. A misfire code can tell you which cylinder or cylinders are having problems. A misfire could be the cause of your engine vibration.
Theres three coil packs; one fires two cylinders. I suppose if one is bad then it could cause the two corresponding to misfire. I had one cylinder misfire, it turned out to be the fuel injector.

That's a misfire code. - means some cylinders are not firing properly .
Spark plug, wire, coil, low compression, fuel injector, intake leak, etc.
Bad spark plug, plug wire. I hade that problem it was a cracked head "Expensive"
