It means a leak in the evap system, but could be as simple as removing and tightening the gas cap until it clicks. If you remove the gas cap while the vehicle is running, it will set this code.

It means you have a small evaporative leak in your fuel system. Check that the fuel cap is tight, and check that the rubber seal is not cracked.
P0441 Evap Purge Flow Monitor Insufficient or excessive vapor flow detected during evaporative emission system operation
I have the same problem. I have found that if replacing the gas cap does not work you need a canister purge valve and/or canister purge solenoid. I know nothing about vehicles ..This is just what I have found out .
The P0441 code on a 2003 VW GTI indicates an issue with the evaporative emission control system (EVAP), specifically related to incorrect purge flow. To fix this code, first, inspect the EVAP system for any leaks, including hoses and the gas cap. Check the purge valve for proper operation and replace it if it's faulty. Additionally, ensure that the charcoal canister is not clogged or damaged, as this can also contribute to the issue.
