My Valet switch looks like a Black rocker switch with Valet wrote on it.
Mine is in the arm rest, Cassette holder in my XJ6 1995 model , I do not know what it does though.

The valet switch in vehicles looks different depending on the model. It is generally located under the dash or in the glove compartment.
The factory security system does not have a valet switch.
A 1992 LeSabre wouldn't have a valet switch
Valet mode bypasses your security system, so being in Valet mode should not disable your car. Cycle the valet switch a couple of times and try again. In case you don't know how, the switch is often behind the indicator lamp, if not, look for a small button just above your gas and brake pedals. If you know the model of system you have, look up the manual online.
I dont think a valet switch was standard on the accord but for most all aftermarket alarm installs the normal place for the valet switch is under the dashboard by where your left knee would be.
My Valet switch was installed after purchase so I put it where they suggested/where I wanted. Look on the bottom area of dashboard lower than the steering wheel or the left panel besides the drivers side floorboard.
I have a 96 Camry and, for some reason, it took forever for me to find this button. Open the driver door and look down at the latch that opens the hood, look to the right of that latch, where that plastic paneling meets the carpeted area. There you should see the hidden silver valet switch.
Yes, many Mustang alarm systems come equipped with a valet switch. This switch allows you to temporarily disable the alarm system, which can be useful for situations like servicing the vehicle or when a valet is parking it. Activating the valet mode prevents the alarm from triggering, while still allowing you to use the vehicle normally. Always refer to your specific alarm system’s manual for details on its features and operation.
Where is valet switch on 2002 nissan altima
In the glove box!!
In the 1997 Jaguar XJ6, the valet switch is typically located in the glove compartment. This switch is used to disable certain features of the vehicle, such as the trunk release and the alarm system, when the car is being parked by a valet. To access it, simply open the glove compartment and look for a small toggle or button. Always refer to the owner's manual for precise information regarding its location and use.
