I have never heard of a cam belt. I have a 2000 Kia Sportage and the timing belt went out while I was driving. The engine stopped running, and I tried to start it back and it would not start. The engine would turn over and over but would not start. Found out after a four hundred dollar fuel pump it was a broke timing belt.
these engines are contact / so when a timing belt breakes you ben the valves resulting in no compresion so the engine will not start until you replace all the valves and belt with setting up the timing
if a tie rod breaks you will lose control of the tire it broke on , causing you to crash..
The driver will lose steering control. The wheels may turn in different directions, and all the driver can do is hold on until the car stops.
The car will jerk, feel like there is something heavy slowing it down and then it will not move. It happened to me today and you will know it when it happens. The car will not be able to move until that axle is fixed (which is a cheap fix)
That depends on the engine and what belt (timing or accessory).
Serious crashes.
Yes!!!
You can get stuck and the breaks can break and you have no where to go
it breaks fat to keep the sugar level adequate in the blood
That depends if the engine is interference or not, and how much damage is done.
To prevent the stomach drop feeling while driving, you can try sitting in the front seat, focusing on the horizon, avoiding heavy meals before driving, and taking breaks to rest your eyes and stretch.
the kitty my go SPLAT! on your tires but hopefully, it never happens
You might go to jail...
