There is a button on the console that you press to adjust shift points on the transmission when towing. It is called the Electronically Controlled Transmission. It accomplishes exactly what the first answer says and you, under normal circumstances, will normally always leave it engaged. That's the light off. Then the vehicle's computer will take control and change gears as it needs too.
