If you're going for mid range power a t3t4 turbo will do the trick. But if you're going for 500HP plus you'd have to look for a t70 turbo roughly.
In New Zealand theirs a common upgrade for the rb25det that's done, the turbo is called a DSR440 and it directly bolts inplace of the factory turbo, yet can handle up to 550hp+ with supporting mods. But very reliable, cheap and quick spool.
To choose the correct turbo you really need an idea of what your supporting modifications are going to be, how much power you're realistically expecting/wanting and how much you're willing to spend.
RB25det engine 2.5 liter Single turbo, the turbo is a T3 clone ball bearing
convert no!!! swap yes!!! You can use the rb26dett (thats the only twin turbo the skyline has) You can not use the tranny from the rb26dett(GTR)because it is AWD the rb25det can also be used(not a twin turbo) You would have to use the sr20det tranny or the tranny from a GTS also a skyline and some different motor mounts and a drive shaft but yes it can be done.
The kind of engine in a Nissan Skyline R33 is a RB25DET, Inline 6 cylinder DOHC(Double Over Head Cam) 24 valve IC turbo with an electrically controlled gasoline injection device.
Doesn't exist. Either RB26DETT or RB25DET. I assume you mean RB25DET which is a DOHC single turbo 2.5 liter inline 6 motor found in certain model Nissans.
over 100,000rpm is the turbo speed.
Yes, RB30et
The Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R, equipped with a turbocharged engine, produces about 276 horsepower (hp) from its RB26DETT inline-six engine. However, if you are referring to the R33 GTST, which features a single turbo RB25DET engine, it typically generates around 250 hp. The exact figures can vary slightly based on specific models and modifications.
The turbo off the 300z will fit on the r32, not the manifold, only the turbo.
yes. the r32 skyline gtr comes with an RB26dett motor. the d for DOHC (dual over head cam), the e for EFI (electronic fuel injection), and the tt for twin turbo.
Skyline is definitley more powerful. It is hard to get in the US. The 200sx has a non-turbo 4 cylinder engine (stock) compared to the turboed inline six in the skyline.
AnswerI'm pretty sure you can even fit a 300zx twin turbo engine (VG30dett)into your 240sx. Many people would perfer a skyline turbo/twin turbo engine(RB25det/RB26dett) though. All you need is lots of money and access to a shop to change your motor/transmition mounts, and cut off some stuff to make room. If you're interested, check this guy 1991 240sx with a skyline motor, and they may even help you with your 300zx engine if you contact them. http://www.mckinneymotorsports.com/projects.phpI'm positive you can put a vg30dett in a 240sx cuz people put ls1 corvette engines in them all the time my friend a has one with a ls2 in it
yes but u will need to switch trannys and intakes
