On the top of the back window position in the middle .
Check all the brake lights and dont forget the one behind the back window. That should fix the problem.
you need to change the multifunctional switchthis happened to mine to
Get in the back seat and grab the rear brake lite and pull the cover toward you. Bulbs are then remove able.
there is a brake in the contacts on the back window
Yes. I have found the schematic in the back of most "Haynes" manuals.
Obviously it varies car to car, yet you didn't specify a make/model. Take it to the dealer you cheapskate.
if you have a Nakamichi sound system i assume you have a speaker grill before the third brake light by the back window. If so, no problem. Just stick a flat head screwdriver under it and prye it open. Once it opens its easy from there, the difficult part is prying the grill/light open.
To replace the rear window brake light on a Ford Galaxy, first, open the rear hatch and locate the light assembly. Remove any screws or clips securing the assembly, then gently pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connector and replace the bulb by twisting it counterclockwise. Reassemble the light by reconnecting the electrical plug and securing the assembly back into place.
i would try changing your bulb in the rear of the car first then if it still not working then look for fuse or wiring problem
