The idle speed for a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo with a 3.1 V6 engine is typically around 600 to 800 RPM when the engine is warm. However, it's advisable to check the vehicle's service manual or consult a professional for the exact specifications, as variations can occur based on specific configurations or modifications.

To adjust the idle speed on a 1992 Volkswagen Golf with a carburetor, locate the idle speed adjustment screw on the carburetor. Start the engine and allow it to warm up, then turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease it. Aim for the manufacturer's recommended idle speed, usually around 800-900 RPM for this model. Finally, recheck the idle speed after making the adjustment to ensure it is set correctly.
Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable. If the speed is incorrect check for a stuck idle speed air motor, on the throttle body, and for air flow problems.
Since it is a throttle body, check to make sure that the cable is not binding, if it is, replace it. If the cable is free moving, it is either the Idle Air Control valve, or the Throttle Position Sensor. Those are the most common culprits.

It is usually a yellow or red handle that is distinct from the oil dipstick. To check the transmission fluid, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface, and the engine is running at normal idle.
the cold idle is controlled by the PCM ( power train control module) the computer of the car and idle is not adjustable.
There are a couple of reasons why a 1986 Isuzu will not idle. One reason could be the oxygen sensor and another reason could be in the fuel system.
