i get about 2750 rpm at 100 km/h, 3000 rpm at 120 km/h. I was wondering the same cause I have the same car as you except its lx. I was looking if there is overdrive but couldn't find it. These cars only came with a 4 speed automatic transmission, all gears seem to shift for me and that's the rpm I get. If you get any different let me know.
don't no
shifts normal with normal driving conditions when driving hard transmission stalls.have to ease off gas to go to next gear
The owners manual claims "under normal operating conditions" you should never have to replace the tranny fluid. but what is normal operating conditions? i would change it out every 40-50 thousand miles.
No not at all if you are driving this car stop at once and fix it or you will blow the motor eventually
gage should sit in the middle
A rebuilt transmission shoud perform exactly like a new one. Hesitation is not normal. Take it back to whoever rebuilt it.
the engine will take longer to get to normal operating temp. and the water temp could fluctuate while driving
Drain radiator RE-fill slowly to prevent and "air lock" Run vehicle to normal operating temperature with heater on Check coolant level
the normal operating temperature for cars is around 190 degrees.
what is normal operating temp.
195 degrees to 210 degrees and that will very a little, depending on weather and driving habits
I have 4 dodge trucks. '89 2wd automatic @ 22 mpg (driving normal) and 17 mpg acting stupid with it (pump is turned up). '94 4wd Manual @ 18 mpg (all stock work truck). '96 4wd automatic @ 19 mpg (all stock), '98 24v 4wd automatic 18 mpg (driving normal) and 14.5 mpg acting stupid with it (575 hp and still finding weak links).
