Mine runs 180 on the hiway, and around 210 around town with the ac on The OEM owners manual says that anything between 180 and 255 is normal depending on ambient temperatures. This is high in my opinion, but as long as the fans are kicking in, the thermostat is working, there is sufficient coolant in the system, and the radiator cap is working properly, I'd say you're in good shape if it's in that range.
The normal coolant temperature for a 1986 Cadillac Seville typically ranges between 190°F to 220°F (approximately 88°C to 104°C) when the engine is operating under normal conditions. It's important to monitor the temperature gauge on the dashboard; if it consistently exceeds this range, it may indicate an overheating issue that requires attention. Regular maintenance, including checking the coolant level and ensuring the cooling system is functioning properly, is essential for optimal engine performance.
there should be a pitcock on bottom of radiator to drain it. or take the bottom radiator hose with motor cold of course .
1986 corvette fuel tank capacity is 20 gallons.

yes.
Low coolant? Thermostat not opening? Radiator plugged or restricted? Cooling fan not working? Water pump not circulating coolant? System airbound? Hoses collapsing under pressure? Defective radiator cap?
Check coolant level in radiator Check to see if it is "airbound" Remove heater hose to see if there is fluid running through it Bad thermostat
