That information is covered on the Toyota Owners website. Go to this page: http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/index.php then navigate to your car and the nearest mileage. You'll find lots of other information on the site too. In essence you'll find maintenance pretty much involves oil and filter changes until the 90,000 mile mark. That's when the timing belt needs to be changed on the V-6. At 100,000 it's time for new spark plugs. Cheers
Genuine Toyota ATF T-IV, which is fully synthetic
STP's part number is S3614. This oil filter fits a 2006 Toyota Solara (6 cyl) and other similar years of Toyota.
it's in the manual for my 2007- has you go to the trip odometer for trip A and hold the button in as you turn the key.
Yes
Your 2006 Toyota Tacoma has a chain and not a belt. No maintenance is required.
Begin by removing the speaker covers in your 2006 Toyota. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speaker.
There is no scheduled maintenance on the timing chain. The chain will, under normal circumstances, last the life of the engine, and is normally replace during a complete engine overhaul.
Toyota publishes the recommended schedules on on their site. http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/
The answer is on page 330 of the 2006 Solara owner's manual. It's also on the driver's side doorsill and on the tire sidewall itself. P215/55R17 93V Wheel size is 17X7 Cheers
The Tirerack website offers that size as an optional replacement so, yes.
That little wrench icon is notifying you that scheduled maintenance is due.
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
