Sounds like a bad alternator. Slow windows indicate low voltage (same for radio cutting in and out), the alternator light indicates battery voltage is higher than alternator voltage (most likely meaning alternator isn't putting out anything).

Consumer Reports data shows that the Toyota Sienna is probably the most reliable minivan.
Back in 2008, I rented a minivan from Hertz and it was a Toyota Sienna.
Our 2004 Sienna van gets about 17 mpg in town and about 21 on the highway.

disconnect the battery for a few minutes and/or short the +/- disconnected terminals (all you lose is your clock setting and your radio stations) code readers may do this too but are pricey and tell you things that are not really at fault
