DOT 3 brake fluid.
you need to bleed your clutch fluid
If your car has not been used lately the first thing you would want to do is look at your fluid levels. Most cars have a hydraulic clutch. The reservoir for this is usually next to the brake fluid reservoir. If your fluid is empty then your clutch will feel extremely loose and not work, you need to fill the reservoir and bleed the clutch. I hope this will help.
Locate the slave that is right next to the front engine mount, on it you should see the small sprout where you can bleed the clutch fluid by using a bleeder tool or having another person press the clutch pedal all the way down so that when you turn loose the sprout the pressurized fluid comes out. You need to re-tighten the sprout quickly to prevent air from entering the line again.

How do i check the transmission fluid in a manual 99 Hyundai Accent?
You can bleed the clutch by loosening the fluid line. With the line loose pump the brakes until fluid comes out.
there dry clutch's, run a cable. no fluid. .:. you can't bleed it. :)
It is important to maintain the fluid levels of a car with the proper fluid types. A 1999 Hyundai Accent uses 5w30 engine oil.
The clutch can't be adjusted. It is an hydraulic clutch. The clutch pedal sends pressure from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder on the clutch. IF you are having trouble with it the thing to do is bleed the air out at the slave cylinder. Have an assistant pump the clutch and hold it to the floor. Then open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder to let the air out of the system. On the final bleed hold the clutch to the floor and close the bleed valve on the slave cylinder. The clutch master cylinder operates of the brake fluid reservoir. Make sure you keep this full of brake fluid as you bleed the clutch.
