If youre summers are hot, 10-30 is good. Its what i put in my 93 prelude in the summer. And when I run her at AutoX when hot, I use 10-40. basically if youre gonna run it hard n hot, go with the thicker oil. just remember if you get freezing winters, go back to 5-30 for November to February :)

It will take gear oil found at any automotive store, make sure it is manual tranny oil and not automatic tranny fluid. Ben, do you mean what brand, or what viscosity? I'm guessing you mean viscosity. The Haynes manual recommends SAE 10W30 for all but very cold conditions. For cold conditions, like from O down to - 20, it recommends 5W30. I live in the desert southwest and for some reason, my local Jiffy Lube is using 5W30 almost exclusively. They don't say why.
