To change the thermostat in a 1991 Honda CRX Si, first ensure the engine is cool, then drain the coolant from the radiator. Remove the thermostat housing by unbolting it, and take out the old thermostat. Install the new thermostat with the spring side facing the engine, reattach the housing, and refill the cooling system with coolant. Finally, run the engine to check for leaks and ensure proper operation.
