Either, the rear bearing is dead or you need to change the brake shoes.
1990 toyota celica when jumper cables are hooked up dash lights turn on but the car won't turn over won't even click
If the tach wire shorted or melted.
probably your neighbours cat is locked in the boot ANSWER: LOL, Either that or one of the belts needs to be replaced.
The MR2 is better as a performance car, the Celica has more seating and storage room, so would be better for travelling, and is front wheel drive so it will drive better in the snow.
Perhaps something in the gear shift that turns on the lights when in reverse position.
I would first check your PCV valve, this was cracked on my 93' Celica GTS and caused that problem. It's very ease and cheep to fix. If this doesn't seem to be the cause of the problem I would check your air intake hose and vacuum lines.
lost the spring for brake pad
Go to a garage thank you
No. 87-89 Corolla might but doubtful. Celica is a bigger motor and it would not match up to the transmission.
There are several things that can cause your engine to misfire and the tachometer to not work properly. The most common cause is a malfunctioning vacuum hose.
The headlight motors are going out. Each headlight has a motor. If you need to replace one, it's best, (and cheapest), to do both of them.
