Try inspecting these things first. Look for clogged intake, air filter, vacuum lines that have come off or have leaks. Next, if you know how, check for trouble codes from the diagnostic port under the dash or under the hood on drivers side near strut. May be a faulty sensor such as oxygen sensor, or mass air flow, or clogged fuel injectors. Also, check for throttle body movement of plate inside. Take off intake, see if throttle body is dirty or obstructed. Is the exhaust obstructed? Last of all is checking spark plugs and wires. Cracked or loose? These are the most common solutions. Good luck.
