AS in any vehicle, if the radiator hose "blows" or simply comes off, the superheated coolant will escape and you will see what looks like smoke but is actually vapor coming out from under the hood. If it's a small tear in the hose, you might only notice it when the car is stopped. If you think you're in danger of this happening to you, it's best to replace the hose before something happens as they are relatively inexpensive. Your car will overheat if you try to drive it without the hose or any of the cooling system parts in proper working order and much more serious damage can occur. Remember to glance at your vehicles temperature gauge from time to time and have the car looked at by a mechanic if you notice anything out of the ordinary.
Why would you whant to know that
you would lose all your coolant
the thick liquid would plug your radiator and ruin your water pump. and destroy your engine.
The wind blows against the radiator keeping it cool which cools the engine, if it didn't the pistons would enlarge cause of the extreme temperature and could explode leaving your car a write off!
What would happen is when your vechile begins to run and gets warmed up your fluid will splatter all inside the hood of the vechile and your fluid will run low and it will crack your radiator.
sounds like blockage in the cooling system. See if you are not low on coolant in the radiator. Just because your reserve tank has coo;ant does not mean that you have enough coolant in the radiator. If you have low coolant in the radiator, it will blow cold. It can happen abruptly. If you are low on coolant in the radiator and not in your reserve tank you will need to find out why the system is not pulling coolant out of the reserve tank.
A leaking radiator hose would NOT cause this to happen, you have 2 problems with this vehicle.
It would no longer work. Light bulbs are usually under vacuum and if air gets in the filament blows.
You'd have no heat or air and radiator would boil over causing vehicle damage.
The first thing to check is your radiator coolant fluid level.
The ceiling will be very warm, while the floor will be cool.
I will say you have a crack in your radiator and once up to pressure a seam blows out your water. I would check along the side.
