Several factors could cause the radio in a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick to stop working. Common issues include a blown fuse, a loose or disconnected wiring harness, or a malfunctioning radio unit itself. Additionally, problems with the vehicle's battery or ignition system can also affect radio operation. Checking these components can help diagnose the issue.
The 1992 Suzuki Sidekick does not come equipped with airbags. Airbags became more common in vehicles in the mid-to-late 1990s, and the Sidekick model from that year was produced before this safety feature was widely implemented. Therefore, if you have a 1992 Suzuki Sidekick, it would not have airbags as part of its safety system.

Seeing as how the Sidekick is not touch screen and the os is danger which is no longer working i would say its possible but not yet been proven. The sidekick 4G came out with android os but still the first sidekicks would be useless and no fun without the touch feature.

The fuel filter is located under the car in front of the gas tank.
The 3L30 automatic transmission, which is often associated with Suzuki vehicles, can be compatible with the 1989 Suzuki Sidekick 4x4 if sourced from the years 1989 to 1998. It's important to ensure that the specific models and engine configurations match, as there may be variations in the transmission types used across different years. Always confirm compatibility with transmission mount points and linkage before installation.
