It's actually not a belt, its a timing chain on the altima se-r...much better for the car! From what I've heart around 150,000 miles you should either change it or at least get it checked.
Timing Belt
Never. 1995 Nissan altimas have 2 timing chains. Not belts.
The 2006 Nissan Altima V6 has a timing chain.
I have a 1999 Nissan Altima and currently has 156000 on it. The manufacturer recomendation for the timing belt is every 75,000 miles.
i did not get a answer
No, timing chain.

when it breaks More info here: http://www.nissanforums.com/l30-1998-2001-altima/125696-timing-belt-chain.html
change should be made at 75,000 miles
timing CHAIN
No both the V6 and four cylinder motors of the 2007+ Nissan Altima have timing chains.
The 2.5 liter 4 cylinder in a 2006 Nissan Altima must have a timing CHAIN , because the Gates website does not list a timing belt for it
