They are on both sides as well as the rear.
There are freeze plugs located on both sides, the front, and the back of the block.
If you mean the freeze plugs......they are located on the bottom side of your engine. They are round and are about the size of a half dollar.
Freeze plugs were part of the casting process and are generally found on the side of the block below the head. Unless they're leaking, they need no maintenance.
The V8. 8 plugs = 8 cylinders
You still have to remove the transmission on a van to access the rear freeze plugs.
Frost plugs are located in the heads & block. Theres a bunch of them so you will have to check to see which one is leaking. Some located between engine & trany also.
the dodge/ cummins engine does not have glow plugs
Just follow the plug wires to the chambers and you'll find the spark plugs.
there are freeze plugs on side of engine if the leak is at the front, check to see if coolant is leaking from water pump and running down to bottom of engine
