on the front of the transmission (looking towards the back of the car standing at the front of the hood) you will see a 3/8 inch drive ratchet drive plug, that is the fill point, on the bottom of the transmission you will find a 1/2 inch drive plug that is the drain point.
Will a nissan Sentra gear box work on a nissan Almera
My 1998 Nissan sentra wony shift into high gear
I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra. It jerks in first gear. While changing to 2 - 4, it runs very smoothly.
if it is an automatic leave it in overdrive. the transmission knows when to change into the overdrive gear. if it is a manual listen to the motor. if you have in overdrive and it bogs down while accelerating then down shift to a lower gear.
all new manual transmissions have internal linkage, so it would be lubricated by the gear lube inside the transmission. First make sure the gearcase is full, if it is still giving you trouble you can pull the shifter boot from the floor and put a few drops of gear lube where the shifter enters the transmission.
If a 1988 Nissan Sentra is slow to accelerate when put in gear, the transmission might need to have the screen filter cleaned and the fluid drained and replaced. Older vehicles should have the transmission serviced after the vehicle reaches 100,000 miles and ever 100,000 miles after that.
your syncronizers in the transmission are worn out in 5th gear. there what make the gears line up in speed so you can change them smoothly
75W-90 Gear oil
gear oil
No the lubrication systems are separate. The manual transmission uses gear oil.
