Depends on which fuse box your are referring to. The Main fuse box for radio, dome lights, ect. is located under the dash and to the left. Or if you open your driver's door, while standing towards the seat. Run your ledt hand down and under the dash & along the side wall. That's where it is. It has a cover usually on it. Engine - there is a fuse box located right behind the battery this is for fuses for the headlights, charging system, hazard & horn. Engine behind opposite of the glove box contains fuses for air conditioner, & heater usually. Hope this helps

The fuse for the wipers on a 1989 Toyota pickup are located under the dash, near the hood release. It is in the main fuse panel which controls most of the vehicle's electronics.
On my 89 it is in the fuse box under the hood on passanger side 15 amp closest to the firewall
