To change the oxygen sensor in a 1998 Toyota T100, first, locate the sensor, which is typically found on the exhaust manifold or downstream in the exhaust system. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and then unplug the sensor's electrical connector. Use an oxygen sensor socket or a wrench to unscrew the old sensor, and then install the new sensor by threading it in place and tightening it securely. Finally, reconnect the electrical connector and the negative battery terminal.
