Hi,
I had a 1993 Toyota Celica GTS, and the jack was located in the trunk, on the passenger side, there should be a small door that you must open. To get the jack out you must unscrew or lower the jack to loosen it from the bracket. I suspect, it has a scissor type jack, so just unscrew the mechanism/lower the jack to break it away from it's slot...
