I think that the 2009 engine (4 cyl) doesn't have the traditional PCV valve. When I went to WallMart and used the paper printed Filter replacement book, all Corollas before 2009 have the Traditional PVC valve listed, but no entries after 2009 list a PVC filter. The computer parts guys at Advanced Auto and Autozone are missing the same data from their computers' output. Everything before 2009 is available (if your Corolla (or engine) was manufactured in Japan, the thread into the engine block is Metric (not SAE pipe thread)). Strangely, when I went to the dealer, and they entered the Japanese manufactured parts screen, they came up with a traditional PCV valve. I looked all over the engine from above and could not see a traditional PCV valve. I wasn't able to look from below the engine - somebody verify please. Thanks, Big Andy
The PCV valve on a 1987 Toyota Corolla FX16 is located behind the alternator. It is under the intake manifold.
yes
The PCV valve on a 1998 Toyota Corolla is located on top of the engine, on the passenger side. It connects the intake manifold with the valve cover.
back of the valve cover-passenger side i believe-it has a vacuum line running to the intake.
it should be rigth of the valve cover follow the thick vacum hoses from the intake manifold
It depends on which engine you have but it should be in the intake manifold. There should be a hose going from it to the throtle body.
4 cylinder does not have pcv valve.
In a 2002 Toyota Corolla, the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve is typically located on the valve cover, near the rear of the engine. It is a small, cylindrical component that can be accessed from the top of the engine. To reach it, you may need to remove any necessary engine covers or components that obstruct access. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific details and guidance.

The PCV valve is located on top of the valve cover in the middle.
The PCV valve is usually on top of one of the valve covers.
