Just in front of the air filter, there is a metal pipe with rubber hoses on each end (the breather hose). Just under the bend in the pipe, there is another small black hose (a few inches long). This hose connects the intake manifold to the PCV valve, which is located on the back of the eninge just under the intake manifold. Just follow the hose.
Where is the PVC valve on a 2002 Honda Civic EX?

The 1983 civic, hatchback with 1.5 engine does not have one.
im not sure on a 1990 but on my 93 civic ex 1.6 vtec the PVC valve is on the intake right under the fuel rail
My 1998 Civic EX engine (CA emissions) vents the upper valve cover into the air intake for combustion. I could not locate a traditional Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PVC) valve on my vehicle.
The PVC Valve is most easily seen from under the car. It is to the Driver's side of the Oil Filter. You can see the hose coming down from the throttle body. This is a metal PVC valve that threads into a port on the block. It can be accessed from above by moving the throttle cables and such aside. F. Bryan

where dose a pcv valve go no 1996 buick lasaber...

Check the engine and under the car from front to back for any oil. It is either a leak or being "blown out." If the PVC valve is stuck, or the dipstick isn't seated right oil can leave the engine block, seemingly disappearing. The PVC valve is the most likely place to start looking.
Generally you will find a PCV valve somewhere on one of the valve covers, with a hose the connects to it.
