It's on the drivers side of the engine. The dipstick has a yellow loop handle.
how do you add transmission fluid on 98 acura cl 3.0
To add transmission fluid to a 1999 Acura CL, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually found near the back of the engine bay, towards the driver's side. Remove the dipstick, clean it, and then use a funnel to add the appropriate type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube. Make sure to check the fluid level after adding and run the engine briefly to circulate the fluid before checking again. Always refer to the owner’s manual for specific fluid requirements and capacity.
Any type of SAE certified transmission fluid can be used in the 1997 Acura. The transmission should never be overfilled.
through the dipstick or a plug sitting on top of the tranny somewhere
where"s the solenoid for a acura cl 2001
You would put this in next to the transmission. This helps to keep everything working smoothly in your vehicle.
Could be low on fluid Have fluid and filter changed - may be an inexpensive fix
It is critical that you use only Honda ATF. Do not use any other fluid, no matter what anyone tells you. Your Acura will not shift properly with any other fluid and you it may be damaged. Purchase the fluid at your Honda/Acura dealer.
find the dipstick labeled transmission. make sure it is not the engine dipstick. just look to see where it goes to to make sure. use a small funnel and pour it in slowly
Your transmission is out
What do i need to do to fix my 2001 CL-S i only have 2nd and 3rd gears and transmission will not shift on its own. Also tranny fluid is NOT discolored or burnt. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!
Most say 60,000 miles. i have a 2005 Accord and my fluid was dark and I changed it at 39,000. If its dark then change it, if it is red or pinkish it is fine, and it should not smell burnt
