The air filter is in a black (literally) box mounted on the left (drivers) side of the car just behind the headlight. There will either be catches around the circumference or screws but either way once unlatched the top can be lifted and the filter extracted fairly easily. If you want to make it even easier, loosen the clamp that secures the air tube between the filter box and throttle body so you can lift the entire assembly out of your way. Cheers
STP's part number is S3614. This oil filter fits a 2006 Toyota Solara (6 cyl) and other similar years of Toyota.
To change the fuel filter on a 2006 Toyota Solara with a 3.3L engine, first, ensure the car is off and the fuel system is depressurized. Locate the fuel filter, which is typically found along the fuel line under the car. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using the appropriate tools, being cautious of any residual fuel. Replace the old filter with a new one, reconnect the fuel lines securely, and start the engine to check for leaks.
I would like to see the location of oil filter for 2006 Highlander Toyota.
What's the question?
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
