In a 1988 Mazda RX-7, the fuel pump wiring typically runs from the fuel pump located in the fuel tank to the fuel pump relay in the engine bay. From the relay, it connects to the fuse box and then to the ignition switch, allowing the fuel pump to receive power when the engine is cranked. It's important to consult the vehicle's wiring diagram for precise routing and connections.
Sounds like a dud fuel pump to me. Check all the wires first . Funny though , 87 rx7 had no carburetor...it has electronic fuel injection.
the fuel pump is located next to fuel tank under the car, more info? sin.limites04@hotmail.com
Mazda didn't make the RX7 in 1974.

Depends, which engine is in the 85, 13b or 12a?
