It's behind the coin compartment to left and of the steering wheel.
See the 7.5 fuse in location 15 on the fuse box
it should be the same as the interior light fuse. all of these are together i think.
The 2001 Toyota Camry license plate light fuse can be found in the fuse box. The license plate fuse will be labeled as the tail light fuse.
The 1989 Toyota Camry parking light fuse can be found in the fuse box. The parking light fuse will be in the first column, second from the bottom.
Check for a burned out fusable link. It feeds the power to the fuse box.
I have the same problem with my 1999 Toyota Camry. The service person at the dealer said sometimes the connections in the unit go bad and it would need to be replaced. Cost = about $90.
The fuse for the dome light and clock, etc. is in the fuse block under the hood on the driver's side. It is a 7.5 amp fuse towards the front of the fuse block. Look at the inside fuse block cover for location. Hope this helps.

check to see if your dome light is working. if not check the dome light fuse, located in the engine room fuse box. dome fuse powers the trunk release circ.
