Mine went bad, as well. I bought an Ah-ooga horn to put in. I finally located the horn, but am scratching my head over replacing it. Basically, it's just behind and below the left headlight (from the driver's seat), in the bumper cavity. It looks like quite a bit of stuff will have to be removed just to get to it. Not sure I want to tackle it.

The fuse for the horn (hooter) of a Mazda 3 is typically located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side or in the engine compartment. You can find the specific fuse for the horn by consulting the owner's manual, which provides a fuse diagram indicating the exact location and amperage of the horn fuse. If you suspect a blown fuse, check this location and replace it if necessary.
Replace it.
The horn relay should be located on the fuse box under the dash. most of the horn relay's that I have seen are a big white fuse, if it isn't on the fuse box, check near the horn.

To access the driver's side horn on a 2005 Mazda Tribute, you typically need to remove the front grille or the bumper cover, depending on the specific placement of the horn. Start by disconnecting the battery to avoid any electrical issues. Then, use appropriate tools to remove the grille or bumper fasteners, allowing you to reach the horn, which is usually mounted near the front of the vehicle, close to the radiator or on the frame. Make sure to reconnect everything properly when you're done.
