In a 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser, the jack is typically located in the rear cargo area, specifically in a compartment on the right side beneath the floor mat. To access it, you may need to lift the floor panel or remove a cover. It's advisable to check the owner's manual for specific details and instructions for your model.
On my '96, the jack is located in the spare tire well in a nice neat package. FriPilot If you mean for changing a tire it could be under the seat, behind the seat, in the trunk, under the hood, or were the spare tire is located
We have a 96 Land Cruiser. The battery went dead and we dealt with the same problem when trying to recharge the battery. We discovered a toggle switch on the drivers side under the dash below the hood latch and gas levers. Flip that switch and you should be good to go. Apparently it resets the alarm.
I recently purchased a 96 LC and called a dealer in Fair Lawn, NJ with the same question. According to them this year doesn't have one.
In the back, on the driver's side. There's a panel built into the trim. You pull up the tab, and that panel lifts off. Your jack is under that. It's located where the wheel well on the driver's side rear would be if it were a pickup truck.
