It's the sensor that sticks out of the exhaust manifold. To get to it, you'll have to take off the heat shield. You can see it sticking out of the left side of the heat shield, it's connected to the wires coming out.
The bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor on a 2002 Honda Accord is located on the header. It is right next to the sensor circuit.
Bank 1 is the bank of the engine that contains #1 cylinder. Bank 2 is the other bank. Sensor 1 is located before the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is located after the cat converter.
Trouble code P0135 means: O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
DTC P0141 Indicates "O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)". Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the HO2S after the catalytic converter. On a 4 cylinder engine it is the sensor on or after cat. It could be a bad wire or a bad ecm most of the time it is the Sensor that goes bad. On a 6 cylinder engine with 4 oxygen sensors it is the bank with cylinder one, sensor after catalytic convertor.
Bank 2 locates on the opposite side of the cylinder # 1 and the sensor 1 is locates in the front
If it is saying that the heater circuit has failed then this O2 sensor has failed. The o2 sensors have tip heaters in them. These are irreplaceable. Replace the whole sensor. This particular sensor is located on the driver's side exhaust in front of the Catalytic Convertor.
It is the sensor that is screwed into the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine.
Too many digits. Should only have 5 digits. Like P0135 which is O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1.
left side of the engine after the cat
3, sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 2
is located in the exhaust manifold .every time is to much better change the 2 sensor atone time
The bank 1 sensor is located front and center on your engine. It looks somewhat like a spark plug. It has 3 wires leading into it from a wiring harness located about 12 inches to the left of the sensor. It is at the top, front of the engine, partially covered by your exhaust shroud.
