ok the answer i found didnt help much so I'm going to try to explain: It is actually more to the passenger side of the radiator just below the manifold angled upward. If you have a flashlight you can see it more from the driver side of the radiator looking under a tin cover. Very hot spot and you are gonna have to remove a skid plate in order to remove this BUT it is not that hard to do. Just a little time consuming. Good luck.
You can access the oil filter from under the hood to replace it. Just reach down between the rad and engine with an oil-filter wrench in hand, slip it over the filter and loosen it then unscrew by hand. It is in the center of the engine on the side. Much easier to feel for than to see. Make sure the engine is not too hot.
