In a 2002 Hyundai Sonata GLS V6, the input speed sensor is typically located on the transmission case, near the front of the transmission, while the output speed sensor is found on the rear side of the transmission. These sensors monitor the rotational speed of the input and output shafts, providing critical data for the vehicle's transmission control module. Always consult a repair manual for precise locations and procedures, as there can be variations based on engine configuration and transmission type.
Once you register, there is a pdf located at the following link that can show you both the Input and Output speed sensors. http://www.hyundai-forums.com/t5491-input-output-speed-sensors.htm
