The kick plate is the plate between the floor and the dashboard in the passenger compartment. The system computer is housed behind the kick plate.

The diagnostic port on a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo drive is located on the lower kick panel on the driver's side. It is just below the left spark plug.

The kick plate is at your feet on the right side of the vehicle. You will need to take off the scuff guard, the flat horizontal piece on the right of seat on the floor. Just pry it off carefully. There are no screws. Then pull the door seal away from the lower front portion of the door and pull the plate out. Again, it has no screws so you will just carefully pry it out.
