There is a governor on the 1991 Accords, but it is controlled by the ECU and cannot be removed without hacking the ECU. The fuel cutoff is at 7,000rpms but the governor is at 120mph. On the 1991 Accords, the engine revs are only around 4,800rpms at 120mph. A mod garage can disable the 120mph governor by accessing and hacking the ECU. Disabling it will not cause problems but the car may become aerodynamically unstable at speeds above 120mph without suspension upgrades.
It's programmed into the engine ECM. You can remove the ECM, but the problem with that is that the vehicle won't function, whatsoever.
You probably blew the motor up. They won't last long without a functioning governor.
Sometimes they do cause a lot of problems/pain with people but most people are fine. They do not have to be removed unless these problems arise. I have had mine for over 30 years without any such problems.
In most cases the governor can not be removed, without it the engine runs wide open and theres no way to slow it down. There are other cases where it is just a limiter on throttle travel, and those can be adjusted to give you some more throttle.
To remove the governor on a 1986 Suzuki FA50, you typically need to access the engine and locate the governor mechanism, which is often connected to the throttle. Carefully disconnect the governor linkage, ensuring not to damage any surrounding components. Once removed, you may need to adjust the throttle cable to ensure proper operation without the governor. Always consult a service manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions.
where is the starter motor located on a 1995 northstar and can it be removed without much trouble Its under the intake manifold on the driver side. just remove the intake cover, then the upper intake and there it is. good luck.
v8: 155 with governor 175-180 without v6: 118 with governor 155 without
The coccyx can not be removed without after effect pain.
spring missing on lawn mower not sure where to install the grovernor spring to. put new carburetor on runs wide open was told needed a spring When you removed the other carburetor, you should have also removed 2 cables and the governor spring. One of the cables connects to the choke and the other to the throttle. The governor spring connects from the governor to the free-moving lever on the throttle. Kinda hard to describe without pictures - I suggest going to your local public library and checking out a manual on small engine repair (with luck, they will have a manual for your particular application). At any rate, it's not just ANY governor spring, but the spring designed for your application. Hopefully you didn't lose the old governor spring and you can re-use it if it wasn't damaged or stretched when it was removed.
Bottom left side of engine looking at from front. Remove passenger front tire. Is located under cowling but can be removed without taking cowling off.
yes, because foreign Aid in effect creates more problems for Pakistan than it is worth. It can easily survive if corruption is removed from the country.
Not without other problems, if the alarm module is removed the engine controller See's it missing on start up and thinks it was tampered with and locks off the fuel system giving it a no start. Better to have the problems fixed.
