Answer - 96 Accord Thermostat LocationThe thermostat is located at the end of the large radiator hose that runs to the back left side of the motor (NOT the main large hose coming off the radiator to the front of the engine). You will need to take off the air filter housing and the associated tubes that run to the back of the engine (comes off in one piece - undo the filter housing & the hose clamp at the other end). Then there is a sensor to pop off, a bracket to undo and you can then take off the housing that holds the thermostat in place (2 bolts - metric). It is not a very difficult job and should take less than 30 minutes to get it out (need Phillips screwdriver / 10&12MM sockets).
