Actually, the above answer is wrong. If it is a 2.5 liter engine the thermostat is under the car where the lower radiator hose meets the engine block. Make sure you have a catch basin as you unbolt the plastic housing. Just crack it open as it begins to leak out. Watch it for a while and then begin to unscrew it more until there is a steady flow. When it stops, unscrew completely and replace. Make sure you get the thermostat with the little floppy pin to allow flow in case the thermostat fails in the future.

Take of bottom radiator hose at the engine block and unbolt the 2 10mm bolts thermostat is behind that.
