Standing in front of the right-side headlight (your left) - looking over the grille and radiator - look down towards the bottom of the right front of the engine. Almost hidden down there among all the wires, tubes, etc, is the short-handled dipstick for the auto trans.
Of course if you have a manual transmission, there won't be one.
