In a 1993 Suzuki SJ410, the voltage regulator is typically wired directly to the alternator's output terminal and the vehicle’s electrical system. Proper wiring is essential for the regulator to effectively control the alternator's output and prevent overcharging.
The voltage regulator on a Suzuki King Quad is typically located near the battery, often mounted on the frame or near the engine. It is usually easy to identify due to its rectangular shape and multiple wire connections. For specific models, it's best to consult the owner's manual or service manual for precise location details, as placement can vary slightly between different years and models.

A second location (on the Samurai, at least) is the right front frame area behind the tire. Check that area for your chassis/VIN number.
