It is where the lower radiator hose (driver side) connects to the engine. Remove the housing (3 bolts) and the t-stat sits inside with its gasket. I believe on some models it is on the upper radiator hose.

To change a thermostat on a 1994 Toyota Camry V6, drain the radiator partially. Remove the upper hose assembly, unbolt the thermostat, and put the new one in place. Refill the radiator completely.

the thermostat is in the front of the block where the bottom rad hose connects.
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine block. The part the hose is connected to is the thermostat housing. The thermostat is under it.

It is located in the thermostat housing on top of the motor.
Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
follow the lower radiator hose up to the engine, where the hose clamps is the thermostat housing. remove the 3 nuts on it and youll find the stat.
An engine scanner will give you exact water temperature and gauging by it you can tell.
