On a 4 cylinder Toyota Camry, 1996, there are two oxygen sensors. Its all Depending on your engine size and cylinders. If your not sure how many your car has, go to your local autozone or Schucks auto supply ( id go for autozone, cheaper) and ask for a o2 sensor, and explain you dont know how many your car has. they will look up your make and model and everything and tell you how many it has. Also, ask them to show you where they are located.

Just find the cat converter. it should be right by the radiator, its got 2 identical plugs coming out of it, with wires that connects back into another pronged plug. In the auto zone pic, the bigger end is plugged into the catalytic converter.
