the reason my 2002 Toyota Camry would not accelerate past 25mph is the simplest reason ever....although its not the first solution you would think of....we checked the throttle position sensor, the throttle body, an ignition coil, mass air flow, o2 sensor....everything it seemed like....it turns out it was because my radiator fluid was low....(dumb huh?...i told you)...it went into 'limp mode'....after paying $225, this is what we found....although i still have to have it flash programmed because it lost memory due to a battery change (thanks to auto zone who never told me that it would wipe my memory clean and that i needed something called a memory saver)...it accelerates now...it just cant decide how it wants to idle...its idling rather high but after i shift into gear, it drops and runs like it should....oh well...hope this answer helps someone else out and saves them alot of heart ache and hell...if anyone is reading this and has a solution to my idling problem....please let me know...thank you so much....
